Mistrzostwa Śląska w układaniu Kostki Rubika

Zawody odbędą się zgodnie z obowiązującym Regulaminem WCA (World Cube Association), który porusza aspekty dot. zawodników, sędziów, puzzle'i, pomiaru czasu oraz mieszania kostek. World Cube Association jest niezależną grupą entuzjastów kostki, którzy zorganizowali się, aby sponsorować, obsługiwać oraz promować różnorakie zawody układania kostki Rubika i aby dzielić się pomysłami dotyczącymi tego, jak lepiej układać różne łamigłówki i gry włącznie z kotką Rubika.

Każdy uczestnik ma obowiązek stosować się do regulaminu mistrzostw.

W wyniku burzliwych dyskusji zamieszczamy ostatnią decyzję zarządu WCA:

Q: Stopped times (before solving has finished) that are longer than
0.05 sec are DNF (and 0.05 or less let another attempt)?
A: Yes, stopped times longer than 0.05 are considered to be the fault
of the competitor. Unless, you are able to show that the timer is
defective. Some timers will register that the hands are on the timer
when the hand his hovering above the timer, or if a piece of clothing
hits the timer or otherwise.

If the competitor can show that the timer is defective past 0.05, then
t is a timer defect. But the assumption is that if the timer stops
past 0.05, it is the fault of the competitor. We hope the rectify
this problem with the old 0.32 second delay.

Q: After solving the cube there are some pieces off, but the cube is
unambiguously solved. Is it correct or DNF? I think regulations
says CORRECT.
A: Yes, the regulations I think are pretty clear on this one.
Non-functional pieces may fall of as long as the cube is unambiguously
solved. Of course, if the competitor has caps flying everywhere after
every solve, it would be respectful of them to take care of the issue.

Q: Is it allowable to cover the LCD stackmat timer with for example
a piece of magic?
A: We're considering that covering the timer's LCD screen to be a
form of aid by an object, and should not be allowed. The timing
surface and timer itself should be unaltered in order to promote
uniform conditions for all competitors.

Q: May speedcuber (after preinspection, before solving) lay down his
puzzle on stackmat timer (this is also an integral part of stackmat)?
A: No, puzzle must start flat on the mat surface.
